• Make pet potty breaks easy by keeping a leash, harness or collar and waste disposal bags within arm’s reach.
• If you’re able, create a comfortable space for your pet in your new home before the move. This will help them feel more at ease in their new surroundings if a familiar bed or toy is already waiting for them.
• If your pet is crate-trained, travel with your pet in a carrier or crate during the move. This will help them feel more secure and minimize stress levels. It will also keep you safer as you drive!
